I have always been a big sports fan and I really enjoy cycling – although I’m not as fanatic as some of my colleagues. Nevertheless, I have always taken interest in the cycling sport, the bikes and new technology. As a mechatronic engineer with lots of experience in the development of pneumatic systems, both in the automotive and medical domain, I got the opportunity to start the development of this new, exciting bicycle technology. After years of hard work – which never felt like that to be honest – this resulted in an unprecedented product. I am proud of our achievements and the team that has accomplished this. It has been a long journey, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Being able to ride the GRAVAA wheels, I might even become a real cycling fanatic!
