Thomas Rose

My journey with Gravaa started in 2023 when I joined the team to design and manage the production process of KAPS. This was an amazing opportunity for me to showcase my learned knowledge and experience as an engineer. It would also be the first time that I get to design such a production process from the ground up. This was an opportunity I could not turn down.

I studied Manufacturing and Design engineering in Ireland before moving to the Netherlands. Like most people in the Netherlands, the bicycle quickly become a key instrument in enabling movement and exploration. For much of my life though, I have had a keen interest in cycling as a source of exercise and entertainment. I have followed various competitions from Tour de France, World Cup Downhill events and indoor cycling. As keen cyclist, I am familiar with the trials and tribulations all cyclists go through with punctures and poor road conditions. I am very excited to be part of a team who are solving some real problem faced by cyclists globally.
