The idea behind Gravaa came to our founder, Gertjan van Ginderen when he was in the middle of a race in the southwest of Holland. A beach race, if you can believe it – a long and winding event over hard asphalt and soft sand. The sort of race where one tire pressure won’t win the day, but many. And so the event played out, with each rider stopping to lower or raise their tire pressure when the surface changed. And that’s when Gertjan had an idea: what if he could adapt his tire pressure on-the-fly, right from the cockpit?

Ten years later, his idea hit the ground rolling with the commercial release of Gravaa and the concept of adaptable tire pressure technology.
