To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sr. Mechanical Engineer who, together with our team and in collaboration with a few national and international development partners, including World Tour Team Jumbo-Visma, will contribute to a successful market introduction and further rollout of KAPS.
Profile
As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at HUBTECH, you will be involved in product development from concept to production. You will design mechanical components and mechatronic systems. You are the technical point of contact for your assigned parts of engineering. You also maintain contacts with customers, development partners and suppliers. You make strength calculations, tolerance analyses and design and build test systems and perform tests yourself. Where necessary, you make product illustrations and product presentations. Furthermore, you cooperate in professionalizing the work environment (processes, procedures, Quality Assurance, DMR setup).
Are you the flexible and independent Sr. Mechanical Engineer, who can change gear quickly and loves a pragmatic approach, who would like to be part of a small, driven and experienced team and can support in a broad sense the mechanical development of a groundbreaking new technology, who has affinity with cycling and with bicycle and/or motorcycle technology and also possesses:
- At least a completed college degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics;
- Several years of work experience in the development of complex mechatronic systems;
- Experience in working with SolidWorks and analysis and simulation tools;
- Knowledge and experience in the development of series products;
- Experience with plastics and their machining and processing methods. Knowledge of composites is a plus;
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and electronics;
- A good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing;
